We founded the “teemana” initiative to offer plant products of exquisite quality.
The aim of teemana is to offer products that are alternative in the best sense of the word: away from mass production, towards a sustainable, ecological and responsible way of doing business.

teemana doesn't have a physical store, but is a mail-order company, so we don't have regular opening hours. Thank you for your understanding.

We are a family-run manufacturer from Swabia and not a large corporation.
Behind teemana are real people – we mean it honestly and put our heart and soul into our work every day. Your help enables us to preserve creation by cultivating and using truly sustainable and ethical products.
We do not want to convince you with empty advertising promises, but rather rely on transparency, authenticity, integrity and approachability .

What does “teemana quality” stand for?
Our guidelines and our vision: 
Development partnership: alternative – sustainable – responsible – global – controlled – creation-conscious
It's important to us that our customers have confidence in our products—especially because we consider them partners in our work! To this end, we would like to share some of the key aspects of our work:
Development partnership : When Africa sells goods to Europe today, prices are at rock bottom—even worse than during some times of slavery. That's why, for example, we buy moringa in Tanzania not by paying 10 or 20 percent more than the local market price, but by paying 3,000 percent (thirty times more). Only in this way can our growers and harvesters there send their children to schools worthy of the term.
Alternatively : teemana is also a philosophy: to produce goods in such a way that our world can continue to exist for millions of years.
Sustainable: We want to support small businesses in Germany and encourage sustainable agriculture. For example, some church congregations in Germany are kindly cultivating and harvesting artemisia together. The proceeds, in turn, allow us to support development aid projects of our partners in Africa and Asia.
Responsible : teemana quality means that the producers we know personally only produce goods that
- be exposed to non-ionizing radiation for preservation
- not produced by or with genetically modified organisms
- not produced using synthetic pesticides
- not produced using easily soluble mineral fertilizers
Global/controlled: The import of raw materials and products from third countries is strictly regulated in Europe. For plant products, crop rotation (two-, three-, and four-field systems) should also be varied.
However, teemana has higher standards. We want a delicate By practicing agriculture that respectfully involves humans, animals, and plants, we are contributing to the healing of our planet.
Creation-conscious: God's Word says in the Bible, Hosea 4:6: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." So, can there be a solution? We want our work to be a building block of God's solution for Africa, so that the "begging bowl of the world" can be transformed into the "breadbasket of the world." No matter what continent you live on, please help us preserve creation by cultivating and using truly sustainable and ethical products.
